Harvey is one of the more impressive legal AI tools I’ve tried so far. I’ve used it mostly for contract drafting, redlining, and summarizing large documents, and it’s been a solid time-saver. The Word integration is useful, especially when I need to quickly revise language or restructure a clause to better fit a client’s position. It doesn’t replace legal review, of course, but it gets me close enough that I can focus on higher-level thinking instead of repetitive edits.

There are a few rough edges. The platform can feel like it’s still evolving, and I did run into some friction during onboarding. The pricing is also steep, which makes it a better fit for firms with budget to experiment. That said, the team was responsive when I had questions, and the roadmap looks promising. For firms looking to dip their toes into AI for real legal work, Harvey is one of the few tools that feels like it's actually built with lawyers in mind.
